MGM China Reports Record H1 2026 Revenue and Rising Visitor Numbers

MGM China Holdings released unaudited financial data for the first half of 2026 on July 30. The company recorded a nine percent increase in average daily visitation and achieved a new historical high in net revenue.

First-Half Financial Results

Average daily guest counts reached 115,715 during the six-month period ending June 30, up from the same timeframe last year. Macau gross gaming revenue also showed recovery, with daily averages climbing seven percent year on year to approximately MOP701 million, equivalent to $86.8 million. Group net revenue totaled HK$17.4 billion ($2.2 billion), surpassing the HK$16.7 billion ($2.1 billion) recorded in H1 2025. The figures were sourced from the company's interim disclosure.

Market Share and Operational Metrics

Adjusted EBITDA for the period stood at HK$4.8 billion ($612 million), slightly below the HK$4.9 billion ($625 million) from the previous year. The company maintained a 15.9 percent share of the regional gaming market, split between MGM Cotai at 9.7 percent and MGM Macau at 6.2 percent. Management noted that a decline in the VIP win rate, which fell to 2.6 percent compared with 3.5 percent in 2025, influenced overall performance.

"MGM China is dedicated to improving our products and service levels," said executive director and CEO Kenneth Feng. The company continues to support Macau's development as a diversified international destination. Parent company MGM Resorts separately disclosed record revenue for its second quarter of 2026.
